having issue sending MMS messages after Marshmallow update on Samsung S5

I updated my S5 to Marshmallow recently. I am on the MetroPCS/T-Mobile network. Before I updated, I had no issue sending and receiving MMS messages. Now I can't send or receive MMS messages (picture messages) if I'm connected to WiFi. It's not an issue of signal strength - I'm in the same room with the router. It's not an issue with my home network, as I can't get them when I'm connected with any other network either. I've tried restarting the phone, yanking the battery, messing with WiFi settings - but the issue persists. I have other issues with the WiFi as well... Netflix will pause approximately every 2 minutes where it used to play just fine on the WiFi. I don't want to burn through my 4Glte data when I'm at home. Any suggestions, tips, tricks, magic spells, etc to help me correct the problem? I have actually been thinking of backing up my stuff and doing a hard reset.... think that might help?

Thanks in advance for you assistance

Hi, I had similar issues trying to update Apps & getting on the internet. Only solution for me after trying factory rests was just to turn WiFi off. Now waiting for Android update to fix, as can't locate any solutions.

This is happening to me too. I have to turn wifi off to be able to send or receive a MMS. Please help! (I'm on a Moto G4 running 6.0.1)
