having problem saving photo to sd card!

in camera setting, changed the saving photo storage from device to SD card. however when taking pictures, my s7 edge has problems saving photos to sd card. sometimes it will halt the phone entirely and some pictures in the sd card has a exclamation mark on it and becomes corrupt.

is there anything wrong with the sd card or is it a phone problem?

it was a brandnew sd card. its Silicon Power 128GB MicroSDXC UHS-1 Class 10. i bought this off amazon. format it thru phone. whenever it fails to save to sd card, the default storage changes to on device storage.

Use an app called SD Insight to verify if the card is authentic.

Is there anything else in the card that doesn't work well?

FWIW I've never heard of the brand called Silicon Power before.
