Having problem when on a call...

I am a week into my first replacement Rezound and it seems the proximity sensor for when on a call is bad. When taking the phone away from my face, the screen stays off. I have to swipe my thumb across the sensor a few times to try to get the screen back on. I never had that happen with my original Rezound.

Has anyone else had this issue, or is there a setting I need to tweak?

Time for another replacement. I shut the phone down and did restart and it worked for awhile, but screwed up again. Oh, my 4g is dropping again and sense is crashing again.

I have issues with my current replacment. going to replace it in the near future AGAIN. 5th device already, maybe ill ask for a device exchange...

already tried that. sensitivity on it may be messed up, i went to a tech @ their corporate store and it was working fine for some reason. then went home and started happening again.

called verizon up today and told them the issue, and he offered to exchange under warranty once again. AND also offered to let me go on a different device which was motorola droid maxx BUT.. only if I downgraded to a sahre everything plan..i said i didn't want to lose my unlimited plan, so he noted it on my account i'd still have a choice of doing so in the future. maybe i should've asked for a S3.

I'd call back and ask to speak to a supervisor. They should not have tried to blackmail you into giving up your unlimited data.

That try that with me I will have them sending me a new phone every week! LOL

Try calibrating your g sensor. Worked for me on my tb. It's in settings-display

Nope, no help. Also, it is intermittent. Driving me nuts. Tried to call vzw tonight but they were swamped with calls, hold time was going to be too long. I might try again tomorrow.

the g-sensor is for the built in gyroscope. not proximity sensor.

Im gonan find a problem somehow on the next phone to get a different device and not get blackmailed to "downgrade my data and get stuck with another 2 year contract for doing that! it's ridiculous, 5 devices already with problems.
