Is consensus that it's just a matter of time and at the discretion of HBO and/or Netflix to offer their apps on the Xoom? I don't understand why they would both deem the Motorola Droid X as offering suitable content protection whereas they do not believe the Motorola Xoom to offer comparable protection.
 
I can watch hbo go on my xoom. If you have rooted and have the fix for the default web browser not reporting it's self as mobile device it will load in the web browser just fine. Netflix wouldn't load :-X

Netflix uses Silverlight, not Flash, which is why you won't be able to do browser-based watching on any Android device.
