Edit* I am re-writing this post to include exactly what I did and the links to the pages where the information was found. Please forgive me if I violate any rules and or miss anything or any other thing that someone might be upset or offended by. I'm no forum pro nor am I an expert with the android os so I approached this with a lot of hesitation but it really was user friendly. Some of my steps may be unnecessary and or redundant but I wasn't sure exactly what I was doing so I did a lot to cover my bases. NONE OF THIS IS MY WORK, I simply read the instructions and guessed at the things I didn't understand. I will try to give the appropriate credit, please let me know if I forget something.
Original Instructions are on Unknownforce's thread here.
The live CD toolkit is on closeone's thread here.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THE ORIGINAL FORUMS FOR VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION! THIS PROCESS BRICKS YOUR PHONE (INTENTIONALLY) BUT HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR DISASTER!

And closeone for the live CD!
HERE WE GO:
I started with an HBOOT 1.5 phone (obviously), I reverted it to stock and re-locked it.
On unknownforce's thread there is a toolkit, I downloaded that and put it in a folder with adb and fastboot.
I am running windows XP so to handle the linux part I downloaded the live cd v0.2.2 (Stable Release) from closeone's thread found Here.
I used a free iso burner to burn toolkit iso to a CD, I then booted from it a couple times to make sure it was good to go and set that aside for later.
I then downloaded the 2.08 RUU ZIP image (use the 2.17 if you have updated to that) I renamed that to PG86IMG.zip and placed to the root of my SDCARD.
Next I downloaded the 1.13 RUU EXE and left that on my computer.
I then began the actual revert by changing my phones mainver per unknownforce's instructions in his thread, using zerg to obtain temp root.
After the mainver was successfully changed I moved forward with the instructions on bricking my phone (follow unknownforce's instructions VERY CAREFULLY!)
*NOTE* When I plugged AC power back in to my phone during the brick process, I DID NOT get a dim red light, I had no light at all, but I moved forward as if I did, and it was ok.
I copied the rest of the instructions from unknownforce's page to have as reference for the next part.
NEXT: BOOT INTO LIVE CD (put disc in cd-rom, turn off computer, turn on computer, allow to boot to CD)
closeone has provided a ver nice GUI with nice instructions, read and follow them very carefully.
I am not familiar with linux desktop so I had some issues getting 4 terminals pulled up and all visible at once so hopefully this might help clarify for someone. When the CD launches into linux you have a desktop folder in front of you with 2 files, one is a readme.txt THAT YOU MUST READ! and the other is a link for the terminal.
When the terminal launches there is a menubar at the top similar to windows, clicking on file (I think) I proceeded to open a "new tab" with Shell, I did that a total of 3 times (to give me 4 total terminal sessions).
I then had to go to view (I think) and select a split view which allowed all 4 to be seen. In the end the 4 terminals were stacked on top of each other seperated by a horizontal bar. Each terminal window had a tab showing which terminal it was displaying,
I made sure that each session displayed was different than the one above. Then I proceeded with the instructions found in the README.TXT
Upon completing that phase of the instructions I removed my SDCARD from my phone, re-booted into windows, plugged my phone into the USB and held vol. down + power to boot into fastboot. I then located my 1.13 RUU EXE file on my computer and ran it from windows. After that was done I booted my phone up with HBOOT 1.4!!!! Next I used revolutionary to obtain S-Off, put TWRP 2.0 recovery on, flashed superuser, made a recovery, and flashed MIUI.US!
I hope I didn't miss anything, please let me know if you need clarification on any of the steps I used.
Thanks again to all the people who worked hard on figuring this out and making it easy for noobs like me =)
