HD Calling on T-Mobile - Confirmed

I just recently updated my phone to Marshmallow and I can confirm that I finally have HD calling now. I'm not sure if it's on 100% of the time, but at least when I call another person who has a Moto X Pure Edition phone on T-Mobile, I get the HD icon under the person's name. I can also hear the difference. It is a bit clearer, but certainly not earth shatteringly clearer. Still, it's a nice improvement.

Now hopefully, we'll get wifi calling on T-Mobile soon...

I don't believe HD calling was the issue -- More so VoLTE / WiFi calling.

Hmm, you may be right. However, only after my Marshmallow update was I able to see HD calling in effect. The person whom I contact also has a Moto X Pure on T-Mobile - and I haven't seen this for the three months we've had our phone. That's why I thought this is a "new" Moto X Pure/TMobile/Marshmallow feature.

Noticed HD calling was enabled once i updated to MM as well. Works perfect when talking to my wife ...same network (t-mobile) but shes on a new I phone.

I believe HD Calling and VoLTE are the same thing. WiFi calling is different.

For T-Mobile they aren't. T-Mobile had HD voice before it had VoLTE. Verizon is the one who includes their HD voice with VoLTE.
