Head Unit Stuck

My head unit is stuck on the Honda logo but I don't know how to fix it. I already tried all recommended types of reseting but nothing. I think it's a matter of downloading a firmware update but I don't know which one. I would look at firmware but sadly I can't even get to that menu. I tried reaching out to the company I bought it from but they said they couldn't send the update file cus it was too big so I should just return for a refund. I believe my unit is using a novada 8581 board. I haven't really seen much about this board so I'm hoping someone knows. If anyone out there could help I'd really appreciate it.

I was able to grab this system info from a video of a guy with the exact same device. I don't know if this will help but here it is:

So this is an after market device, and when you contacted the manufacturer they suggested sending it back for refund, but you aren't able to do that?

They can't send a firmware update (assuming it fixes the issue in the first place) because it's too large? Sounds like another no name Android radio manufacturer, probably based in some place still reliant on a 56k modem.

Those devices are never good news. Regardless of the problem, I suggest you get a refund if possible and buy a name brand radio. You'll get much better dependability, customer support, and better sound quality.

Welcome to Android Central! What puzzles me is that this presumably 3rd party head unit shows a Honda logo when it boots up. Is that a logo that can be customized depending on the car it's installed in? Or is this a head unit that is actually approved or endorsed by Honda?

It's just customized

I am but I just wanted to get it fixed and not go through the deal of sending everything back ya know?

Welcome to AC!
You can try XDA forums if anyone familiar with this unit but just return it and get something different.

Will try there, thank you

Thats what I'm thinking of doing at this point, I just didn't want to deal with all that hassle of waiting
