headphone jack on lg g2

I have had my g2 for about 2 weeks now, for some reason when i woke up this morning i noticed the screen kept lighting up and would not lock, it keeps sensing that a headset is plugged into the phone but there is not,it is super annoying and draining my battery i tried,restarting it and sprayed some canned air into the hole but,nothing is helping
