I've researched this and found a good number of people with Androids with the issue but no definitive answer. I plug my inspire into the aux jack on my honda element to listen to podcasts, audiobooks, etc. For some reason I get intermittent problems with what can best be described as the phone "freaking out" and skipping tracks, launching other apps, voice dialing, calling people.
I Thought this was a GLF issue where voltage might be feeding back through the mic ring and made a ground loop isolator to no avail.
I am using a 6 foot trs 3.5 M to M cable from Monoprice. Would using some form of TRS>TRRS converter fix this or should I take my phone back to ATT. Is it some other issue that I am missing?
Any advice would be appreciated.
