Heat Issue?

I noticed I've been having some issues with heat on my phone.
In class today I had it in my lap and after a few minutes it got rather warm. It wasn't ever burried in my lap, just sitting on my leg. Anyone else having this issue? Is this another thing I bring the phone in to Sprint for.

You got wifi or gps running? Sometimes it can get pretty warm if an app requiring these is running for a long time.

I was tethering only for a few minutes... I think. I honestly can't remember what order I did everything in. It was so early in the morning lol

Tethering does make the phone somewhat warm in my experience. Usually mine gets up around 36'C - 38'C or so...

This time the phone heated up I my jacket pocket without tethering, wifi, our any memory hogs running. 36?C according to android assistant. Also, I'm not sure if it had come unplug in the night but when I woke up I unplugged it for an hour, went back to sleep and woke up again later to find it at 40%.
