Hi all,

I am currently a blackberry user but I am also very interested in the G1. To see if I could get by using only the G1. I downgraded from my blackberry to a non smartphone and spent a week without receiving my emails on my phone. Boy it was a very long week. I think I am addicted to having access to my emails wherever I am. I live in DC so I still have to wait for T-mobile to switch on 3G access. As soon as they do and an exchange app get's released for the G1, I will be sorely tempted to get the G1. In the meantime I am going to rely on this forum to keep me updated on the overall G1 experience.

So you're exchange-only, eh? Yeah, we're hoping we'll see an app soon. Meanwhile I think that the G1 is really a best fit for Gmail users or people who can become gmail users.

I do use gmail, but only for my personal emails. At work we use an exchange server. It is the work emails i would miss the most since i am more productive for receiving them
