Introductory post.

I am old fat flatulent, been there and done that. I am currently deploying a Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-i727 (Android 2.3.6)

I dropped in to glean information on an older Samsung phone the i997 Infuse. An item my Father has and would like to update to ICS or Jelly Bean. I was at XDA and found this forum through a Bing search. I thought I would add it to the interest list for a while and see if it is going anywhere.

I'm Around XDA as CrowdedCranium, and G+. I detest facebook. And rarely open twitter.

We had a mild shower a month ago and the internet is just now been repaired back to its original dismally slow snails pace. Through the ADSL uVerse line.

I did capture a small bit of that Thunder bummer on my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-i727. Well actually it was three thunder bummers that collided overhead. Knocking the power out for two days and spiking the Uverse ADSL backup battery causing a month worth of dismal to disgusting internet connections until I looked at the router log and figured 2 million unrepaired blocks over a 10 day period was a bit high and called them out to repair it.

So, Samsung and AT&T have not yet put together an Ice Cream Sandwich for my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-i727 and now Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is starting to make the rise to fame. I have some warantee left on this Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-i727 and so I will wait until the already obsolete Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 is finallly trickled out by Samsung across that dreadfull Kies sync warez.

Narcicistic Notions: Be creepy follow me on G+, Twat me on Twitter.

Great tap dancing horney toads. It's 107 degrees out. So, whats up with the i727? I downloaded that crapy Kies software and installed the 4.0.4. ICS update. That was easy enough click start. Drive over to Wallyworld and look at strange critters for a while and on return it is complete and running Android 404 Ice Cream Sandwich AT&T OEM. Bloatware and all.

That has been running for a couple of weeks and is very nice. I have had a couple of strange bits start up the last few days. For a couple of days it has had a system notification that it is ok to remove the SD card. Today it started with unformatted SD card notice. Fortunately all the photos and videos have been instant upload to Google+ so they are not lost if in fact the external SD has gone lame.

It is a 16GB Patriot class 10 from NewEgg for $12.00 so no great loss other than I would think it should last at least a year before coughing up its bisquits. I will warantee (5 year parts and labor so no rush) this one and while waiting for a replacement or backsliding no friggin way notice I will get a 32GB class 10 card to use in its place.
