ok man tried it just now from windows vista and got this i wish i knew what i was doing wrong thank you for helping will try whatever ideas you got when i get home

You actually got a different error this time than last. Previously it started reading the cab file, but failed to extract the file. This time, it looks like it didn't even find the cab file. What did you do differently this time?

Are you typing things in exactly as written? I noticed you typed the name of the cab file different this time.

this time I was using windows vista instead of window 7 I can't remember if I put the can in the same folder a the exe or not but i used lower case this time should that make a difference

Thanks again for helping and being so quick to respond i tried again on vista this time wide awake and following word for word and it worked like a charm
