Help! Apps only loading a black screen

Not a major issue, just curious if anyone else has run into this. It's happened with 2 games where I open the app but all I get is a black screen. I've waited 5 minutes and still nothing, uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted. Any ideas?

Were these apps side loaded?
If so, perhaps they are incompatible with phone or phone settings.

I would try going into Settings -> Apps and click on the app. Then click on "Force Stop". Then click on Storage and click on "Clear Cache".
Repeat for each troublesome app.

Then try restarting the app(s).
