Hey, new to androids for the most part. Updated to dj05 with numerous problems now

I'm wondering if anybody can give me all the files and directions to go back to dj01 stock.

Appreciate any help

What type of problems are you having? Rather than reverting back to DI01, let's see if we can fix what is causing your issues.

In any event, here is the info you requested

thanks for the link!...im gona give that a shot

as far as my problems...It started with not having haptic feedback so i tried to change the kernal, which resulted in having no internal memory, so i tried to restore back to stock but that put me in a force close loop. I finally got the thing working, but i just want it back to stock so i can research this better and install dj05 properly.

I personally would try to get back to stock di01 before doing anything else. It sounds like you had voodoo at one point, and you might want to check this thread if you are having issues flashing the stock di01:

[HOWTO] Completely Remove Voodoo Lagfix - xda-developers

No haptic feedback is usually a sign that you didn't flash the modem properly, or there is a mismatch in versions between the kernel and the modem.
No internal memory usually happens when you flash over a voodoo kernel without properly disabling it.

To get dj05 running, you should go here:
[RELEASE] DJ05 rom, kernel, radio - xda-developers

Download the 3 files. Save the modem file to your pc, that will get flashed with odin. Download the kernel and rom and save them to the memory card on the phone. You will need to rename the kernel file to have a .zip extension. I guess it was accidentally left off.

With the kernel and rom saved on the phones memory card, pull the battery on the phone, hold down the volume button as if you were trying to lower the volume, and plug in the phone to the usb on your computer.

Start odin, flash the modem using the PDA button.

Once that completes successfully, unplug from the computer, but the battery back in, hold down both sides of the volume button and power on the phone. When you are in clockwork recovery, install the kernel and rom zip files. Once you reboot you should be running dj05 stock.

Thats how I did it and didnt have any issues.

I am just typing this from my experience installing, but when in doubt, you can ask the real experts on IRC:

Thanks for all the help. I used the odin file that Kevin Gossett provided, it restored my phone back to stock.

And yes, I did have voodoo, I tried to do a lag fix. Now that I'm starting to understand this a little more, I'm going to put dj05 back on this weekend, and I'm not going to bother with the lagfix.

Also, I'm debating putting froyo on as well, are there any risks or drawbacks to doing this?

again, I appreciate all the help!

There is only one drawback to froyo on the fascinate. It doesn't exist.

If you are referring to the Telus Fascinate threads, that is a GSM phone, so don't flash anything for that phone.

Well, that answers my question...To be honest I haven't looked into it with detail, a friend had flashed 2.2 to his captivate so I thought the same capability would be available for fascinate...didn't stop to think that the two operated on different networks, thus they cant run the same software. Thanks for the heads up.
