So I got a Droid Maxx off of Ebay.. I thought my SIM card from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 would fit into my Droid Maxx. It was tight fit, and it didn't feel correct, but now my SIM card is lodged inside of the SIM card slot in the phone itself. I tried using tweezers to get it out, no luck at all. I'm basically tearing up my SIM card at this point. I think I heard something about my card not being a "nano"? I'm not too sure, but like the card is pretty good in there. I tried removing the back housing off the phone, and it's physically impossible; my nails feel like they will break off and bleed if I try prying it any longer.

Can someone help me possibly?

I managed to get the SIM card out by wiggling it back and forth. I hope the "nano receptacle" is okay. Should I go up to Verizon tomorrow and ask for a nano SIM card?

The SIM card for the Maxx fits into the volume button, ie., the volume button is like a try for the SIM card, so you have to put it in the volume button and then slide it and the SIM card together back into the phone and there is the word "UP" stamped on the Vol. button so you won't put it back in upside down. At least that's the way it was meant to work. The back of the phone will come off but probably not with just your finger nails.

I just did the exact same this yesterday. How did you get yours out? I can't. The sim card is breaking off from the tweezers and I've damaged the reader. At this point all I want to do is get the sim card out and see if I can get the reader fixed but I'm having absolutely no luck.
