Fair enough - it's in an airtight container. I guess it being sealed is so that it's only the water from the phone that's absorbed and not water from the air.
You hit the nail on the head! And you should plan on leaving it in the rice for a couple of days - the longer the better.I guess it being sealed is so that it's only the water from the phone that's absorbed and not water from the air.
Not as close to the toiletso where would I stand
What would have helped was pulling the battery immediately and putting it in rice for several days; I think you're going to have to end up replacing the screen, which won't be very cost effective.do you think this will help?
I dropped my S2 Skyrocket in Pepsi, immediately turned it off and put it in rice, then forgetting that it still had the battery and SIM card in it, I went and took those out about an hour later, it's still in the rice now. Will it be okay?
Mine landed in the toilet about a week ago, as it fell out of my pocket. Snatched it up quick, but it was crackling before I could get the battery out. Let it dry for a couple days. It works perfectly except for the external speaker. I bought a replacement unit and put that in, but I still don't get sound. So, if that isn't where the problem is... what next?
