HELP! DX Memory card sync with macbook

So I try plugging in my droid x to my macbook with the brand new 16gb micro sd card in it and it will not read on the desktop of the macbook. I have it on usb mass storage and on media share it says the memory card is missing or not inserted. Then when i insert the old memory card from my old blackberry it shows up but as "blackberry2.". CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEEEAAASSSEEE!!????

Also, when I go to the settings under "sd card & phone storage settings" then try to click format SD card it won't even let me select it!

it's not a Mac issue, the same thing happens with PCs. I think it has to do with the settings for the USB connection.

Reboot the phone while the phone is plugged in to your Mac. Once it comes back up, your Mac will see it.
