My wife was trying to send some pictures that she had taken with her Fascinate via email this weekend. She was responding to an email that was sent to her and when she tried to attach the pictures to the email none of the pictures that she had taken with her phone were in here picture folder. She had to go into the camera itself and view the pictures and choose share and email then one at a time.

Where are the pictures that are taken with the phone camera held? How can the phone be set to send them to the pictures folder?

Thanks for any help on this.

Thanks gunnermike. Her phone is not rooted, but I can root it and then use Root Explorer. I just think that is is kind of wierd that photos taken with the phone would not be put in the photos folder.

Thanks for liking the my name....they used to call me the Ochness monster when I played football.

In Gmail, when replying to a message, you would hit the menu capacitive button and select attach. •> It should open the gallery and let you select a picture. Is that happening or not. If not, ?> what does it do when she clicks on attach?

If it's the Samsung email app, after she clicks the attach button, •> she should select "Gallery" not "File" in order to attach pictures. Let me know what happen then.

She is not using Gmail, but is using the stock email application. When she attempts to attach a picture to the email it will go to her pictures folder, but the pictures she just took with her phone are not there. The phone seems to be putting the pictures in a different location.
