I am new to this cell phone and I am not very smart when it comes to cell phones. I deer hunt alot and we have a bunch of digital cameras in the woods that take pics of deer. My question is ... Is there a way I can get an SD card reader to hook up to my phone so I can look at the pics in the field. Right now I have to take a camera with me to look at the pics, but I already have my phone with me anyway, and the screen is bigger on my phone then the camera. Thanks for the help to anyone who replies!

Once you take the picture, doesn't it show up on your "gallery"? You can view all pictures there. Or am I missing something?

Sorry maybe I didn't explain it very well. I am taking an SD card out of digital camera ( A hunting camera in the woods) and want to look at it on my phone while I am in the woods. I am just wondering if there is something I can plug a SD card into and then plug that into my phone? Because there is no SD card plug in on the phone right??

I'm sure someone has a better solution than this, but...there is a micro SD card slot on your phone. I use a micro SD card with an adapter for my camera and frequently take pics with the camera and take out the card and pull out the micro SD card from the adapter and put it into my phone to view/upload pics. An 8 gig card with an adapter was $20.

That's exactly the suggestion I was thinking of. I used to do this with my wife's camera and my phone a couple years ago. Use a microSD with adapter in the camera, then just put the microSD in your phone to view the photos. One great thing about the D3 when doing this is that it has that internal storage where you can have all of your stuff stored that needs to always be accessible (such as apps that you've moved to storage or ringtones and such), so if you have to take another microSD out of your phone to put the camera's microSD into it, there are no worries about not being able to access the data that is stored on the internal "SD" storage. It's pretty handy. In addition, the D3's microSD slot allows the cards to be replaced without removing the phone's battery (which is a problem for many other phone models).

The cost is prohibitive, is there not any accesory that plugs into a Driod that will work. Looking for the same solution.

Getting a micro sd card with a adapter is probably the most cost effective way of doing it. And you won't have to carry a card reader with you in the woods. Just watch not to drop the micro sd card in the woods you'll never find it. I've seen them on sale for around $10 for a 16GB
