Ok lol whatever. I'll just leave it at this. Like I said originally. I've owned both of the phones in question. Get the note 2. You'll get used to the screen size.
If you are referring to me, I'm not a fanboy. I WILL call you out when you post bogus **** saying there is no Home Button, or Menu. If someone doesn't know better than to listen to you, you could easily sway someone's decision with your disinformation. If anyone is a fanboy, that would be you as this IS an HTC One forum. Go play on your Note 2 forums...I for one am done responding to your crap.
But there is no menu button. In the app yes. On the phone no. You should know that you do own the phone. Oh, and I'll post where I want. Didn't know you were given the authority to tell other forum members where they can and cannot post.

Just another reason I didn't like the hardware of the one. I get that Google is trying to get rid of the physical menu button. But couldn't they have at least made the power button easier to reach? More ergonomic? Maybe put it on the side?

Why doesn't Samsung just put the power button on the screen with a heat sensor like my TV does in the bottom left and right corner for all the left or right handed people. Oh dang I guess Samsung fails there too....

Well you can see some of my opinions in the earlier posts. I will not comment any further after this post in this thread because I'm just getting attacked for speaking about what ive experienced with the handsets. Apparently I have no clue what I'm talking about, am working for Samsung, am a liar, etc etc. If you want to know my honest, unbiased opinions of either of these phones just pm me.
Why not go to a store and play with both devices there? Or buy them both from a place that allows easy returns and then return the one you dislike? Or as a friend/relative who already purchased it to give it to you to play with?
...and it just keeps going and going...
The ones below the "ect as well as" are all from the web, not the AC Forums. Take a try at finding build quality issues with the S4. No one said every HTC ONE was defective, only that HTC has a build quality problems with the ONE. How many phones, I don't know? But a potential buyer should be aware of the poor quality build of the HTC ONE identified in these posts and articles.
Be aware that if you return the phone because you don't like it (not because it's defective) there is restocking fee.
Of course there is, BUT it is less than the price of the phone and you still have to do it in case if some internets armchair "expert" will say you to "buy it, its color is better than on competitor's model, trust me, I owned both!" but you actually won't like it when the phone will arrive
