Help! Icons disappeared!

This sounds like "I'm sorry you were robbed of everything you own, but at least they won't rob you again tonight!"

Those websites shortcuts you cant get back and back up doesn't save those so we cant do anything there, we want to find out why it happened , so I suggest to you make few new ones and lock the home screen see if it's still a issue. I'm trying help you find this so it doesn't keep reoccurring.

Please help!

On my Galaxy Note 10+ running Android 10, I woke up this morning to find dozens of website shortcuts I had put on my home screen to be totally gone. I didnt delete them myself, there no system update, no crash, they were just... gone. I tried restoring from samsung backup which was made last night when they were all there; nothing (that actually deleted more items!). I restarted several times, nothing. I don't know what else to do. Please, does anyone know what I can do to fix this? This is extremely distressing. Have had this phone since September with no prior issues.

I have had the same issue, all on chrome on my S8. It is a recurring problem ever since around the same time frame you describe. I was able to get most back by going to settings: accounts and back up, then backup and restore, then restore data.

I am also having a similar issue every day, mostly when first using my phone in the morning, with other links being completely shaded out and unable to use. The function eventually returns, but it is very annoying to say the least. Especially since one of the links is for my work time clock. At other times of the day, when the phone has been sitting for a while, the same thing occurs.
