Ok,

Im pretty sure I have root and S-off from using revolutionary... When I installed ROM manager it confirmed I do have root. However, revolutionary failed to install recovery mode. Should I try and use revolutionary again, or try and manually install recovery. Also, I cannot push 'adb' commands to my phone. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Rom Manager will put a recovery on your phone. When you open the app you will on the top flash clockworkmod recovery. Once you do that you will have a recovery so you can use Rom manager.

@SmokeCrawler
Yeah, I read that before I installed the app... Maybe I got a bad version, but it kept
failing when I tried to install clockworkmod...
@dumpedduce
Thanks for the resource. All conveniently in one spot... :)
Any instruction on how to go about installing??

I think I'm going to try Revolutionary again...

This site has instructions in the case that it fails to install recovery...

----> How to manually flash a recovery image (via fastboot OR from SD card) - Android Forums
Hope this works!:eek:

Ok, I'm an idiot... I didn't send this before I started doing everything... Well, to let you guys know... I'm all done finally! And that website I posted made it super easy...

To anyone with a similar problem...

If Revolutionary fails to install Recovery you can do it manually by downloading the .ZIP files provided in the website given by dumpedduce above... I used Clockworkmod there are also others. It is as easy as placing the PC36IMG.ZIP file in the root folder and loading HBOOT... It extracts the .zip for you and installs recovery...

Sooo easy!!!

(Don't forget to install SuperUser also on that website) :cool:
