Hi,

I need some info on the homepage and widget after recent update to lollipop.

When I click the chrome logo I get a homepage as the image shown. how can I save a webpage (like google) as my homepage. ??

Before the update I had a black bar widget where I could turn the data/wifi to on and off. after the update that widget has vanished and now there is a pull down screen that I have to pull down TWICE for those options.

How can I get that black bar widget back ???

After Lollipop the data toggle will always send you to the data usage settings where you can switch it on & off. Sad, I know. You can use an app like Power Toggles to make things a bit easier but there's no way to switch with a single tap as before.

In Chrome you can't set a homepage but there's a nice workaround. Go to Chrome, open your favorite page, tap on the three dots and add to home screen. This way you'll have a shortcut for that page.
