help needed

I have a nexus 7 that was working fine till it went dead and wouldn't turn on again I charged it for a day did all reboot tips I found online still nothing I made sure battery was connected properly I even bought a new battery still nothing . It will not turn on or even charge or any of the lights will not come on any ideas as shop I bought it in is gone bust and tried every tip I can find online ???

Contact Asus and return it to them for repair under warranty.

I don't think so, especially if the battery isn't the problem and replacing it didn't create the problem. Put the old battery back in if you still have it. If not, don't worry about it. Then call Asus to arrange for the warranty repair. There's no need to discuss the battery with them. You have a defective device, so they need to fix it.

Put back the old battery very carefully, and DO NOT mention to the rep that you tried to change the battery. Heck, don't even mention that you tried opening it up. You should be able to get this fixed under the warranty terms as long as there is no physical damage to the tablet and it is not rooted, unlocked, ect.
