HELP! Optimus V can only be used through screencast

i can only use my optimus v with screencast nothing shows on the screen and on the screencast tried to to install cm7 but then reboots (only on screencast) into recovery ive been trying adb and screencast but nothing
i hope someone could give me some help!!

What rom are you trying to install, which directions did you use, what recovery are you using?

In short, need more specifics.

im using clockworkmod 3.2.0.1 and the directions i used were:
1.wipe cache
2.wipe dalvik cache
3.format boot data system and cache
4.install zip from sdcard
5. installed aospCMod-OV-20110307-signed.zip
(all this on screencast)
everything seemed to work but when reboot screencast boots in recovery but phone still goes black after lg logo

Well the recovery you're using should be fine, it's what I use. Have you been able to boot into recovery without screencast?

no i cant it only boots on screencast

ive read this already i thought it would help (its the only reason im using screencast ) but screencast doesnt let me flash an image or maybe im not looking in the right place

Go to page 15 of the Fix black screen thread and follow bigsupersquid's directions for getting the proper recovery for the Hitachi screen which you have. The recovery you installed from ROM Manager only works with the Novatek screen.

thanks for all your help i read all the pages and i could install the custom recovery and the cm7
