Help out a rookie hacker.

Can someone point me in the direction of a good step by step for a Mac user trying to hack his phone and load a steady version of CM9 on his GS2? Or AOKP?

Open to recommendations for a good steady build.

I was just given the Galaxy S2 as a replacement phone to my Nexus S... this being about a month before my upgrade (going with the S3 or Note 2) and since ill only have it for a month I figure I should hack it and toy with hacking on a phone I don't care about. Practice makes perfect yeah?

Two days ago I rooted and flashed aokp jellybean to my att g s 2 and it is AWESOME!!! Go on xda site and find the aokp jellybean ROM. If you don't know anything about rooting and flashing it will take a bit of reading and figuring out as they don't like helping people on that site if you're not willing to read, lots.
