Help!! phone stuck at software update screen!

So I decided to update my tmobile G2x phone to gingerbread through the lg updater tool, and i plugged it in and everything was going alright. Right when the updating on my phone started the cord accidently came unplugged, and i tried to restart the update. Now everytime i try to restart the update it just says it has bad connection between the computer and phone. The phone is stuck at the "S/W Upgrade, Please wait while upgrading" screen and i dont know how to get out of it. Can anyone help?

Did you try removing the battery? Also you can search on how to reset the phone. I know on my optimus, I hold volume up and power and home at the same time I believe.

Is the phone rooted, running clockworkmod recovery etc...?

If it falls into the above, you can factory reset by booting into recovery
