Could anyone tell me a root application that will root my phone without tripping knox on my phone?

Ps. sorry about the a after knox (Damn autocorect (no it was just be being dumb))

Welcome to the forums. As far as I know, there is no way to avoid tripping the Knox counter, or erase it. I believe that bounty is still active on XDA.

I was looking on xda just now and I found somthing about flashing back to an old kernal then use towlroot would flashing back trip knox?

That might work for root, but not tripping the Knox counter to my knowledge.

Sent from an AOSP M8

If you install "phone info Samsung" from the play store, it will show you the knox counter

Surely it can't be easy as downgrading the kernel then using towelroot. I'm guessing if you tried to flash the older kernel, it wouldn't let you, or it would trip knox.

To see knox counter: boot into download mode. 0x0 = good 0x1 = bad.
