So I messed up my system with flashing audio mods and other stuff and now I'm screwed cause I haven't took a system nandroid. How do you get your clean system partition back without touching anything else, just the system? I have twrp installed & rooted with busy box and xposed installed. It won't be a huge deal if I lose root, busybox and xposed since I can just flash su again and get them back again. Please help me thanks.

If you did a TWRP backup, go to Restore and uncheck everything except System.

If you have no backup, you'll have to either flash the firmware (losing all your unbacked-up data) or find a TWRP backup of the system of the same variant of the same phone, and restore it. (People can help you if you post the make and model (and variant, if any and carrier) of your phone. (With some, like the Pixel and Nexus lines, you can flash the firmware without wiping your data.)

Hi thanks for reply I need more help.
I do have a nandroid twrp backup with all partitions directly backed up to the pc using adb backup - -twrp but when you type in restore, twrp doesn't let you restore only the system it restores everything that in the backup, no selection just gets on to it instantly. Is there a way to only restore system? Please reply thanks
Ps can't put the backup on device or sd card due to lack of space so my only option is to do it from pc.
