I had heating issues on my phone since I received it and I did a factory reset to see if it will help. It seems like it did a bit, but when playing graphic intense games it gets hella hot.

Can someone without any heating issues do me a favor and download modern warfare and see how hot your phone gets playing it for about 15 mins?

Thanks in advance!

I don't play Modern Warfare, but I have a Sprint branded G4 and have noticed that too. When using the phone to play ingress (running data, GPS, and screen on) the phone does get hot and tends to lag...I have had it reboot on me due to this lag. So maybe memory clearing issue in 5.1?

Or it's simply getting hot from working hard, and is slowing down the CPU to avoid overheating. I don't know what would explain the reboot, but the lag could be from the CPU temp.

Lol I meant modern combat. But I'm guessing any game that demands a lot of the phones resources should suffice.

I use the phone as gps and it show me overheating warning and the cpy had 58 celsius.
All this because the day it was very hot and inside on car the place burning and i had put the phone on front glass.
Exept this my g4 runs very smooth and cool but if you push it then you feel some hot on the screen.
I play modern combat 5 for 30 minutes and the max temp of cpu it was 45-48 celsius with ambient temp 30 celsius. I bieleve its ok.
