From the FAQ, it's NOT supported for your device, you don't have a powerful enough processor. However they have a link for you to TRY it, but don't complain to them if it doesn't work.

just becuase you have a smartphone doesnt mean every app your little heart desires will work.


beefier phones are being released and new software is taking advantage of them. that means older hardware gets dropped.

the OV uses an older class of ARM cpu, its still fast, but doesnt support the specific new code that these new apps require.


glad i got a triumph though, it will be current for a long time. no apps are taking advantage of dual core except some games, so all the real productivity stuff like this ill be able to use since my phone supports the current trends in standard specs. I guess it does pay to invest in better hardware the first time around.

If you are looking for a good VOIP solution that works well on the Optimus V, I would recommend the combination of Google Voice and the app Groove IP. The combo works great for me. I often use the Touchpal Dialer with it, as that has better contact editing.

Vonage owns Groove IP for calling out. The voice quality is close to normal.
