Help w Maildroid - only gets old mail -??

Hi - I searched thru dozens of old msgs but couldn't find a similar post. Just instld Mdroid and it seemed to go fine. no errors, gets msgs from my gmail personal domain OK - except they're 2 months old. I could finda setting to limit how many old msgs to retrieve, but nothing that says to get ONLY old msgs. Any words of wisdom?
