It looks like there's a thread with the title "Help rooting the Optimus S" and that will be the first place I check out after I write this post. I have a rooted EVO (rooted using unrevoked, clockwork mod, cm7) so I'm not a total noob. I just want to be a little bit more careful with my gf's phone that I was with mine. It seems like the rooting process for the optimus s might be a bit more complex than unrevoked. Anyway thanks for this site and posting all this great information.
