help with calendar notifications

Hi all,

So I have a nexus 5 stock on att. I'm running jorte calendar. My issue is that I'll create an event without notification reminders, and 20 mins later or so, ill double check the event and its set to remind me in 10 mins.

I have the setting in jorte for default no reminders, as well as the stock calendar set to no reminders. I'm only synced with one email address on this device. It just started couple days ago. Finally decided to reach out for help bc seriously clue why keeps generating reminders.

Any ideas? Thanks!
