help with cm7?

is anyone willing to help me with installing cm7 on my phone? im new to this and just wanna make sure i dont mess up my phone. im coming from reborn rom btw

Just flash as the instructions say. Make a backup in recovery first. If anything goes wrong or you don't like, just restore the backup

im just confused by the 2 sets of instructions i see

1. Wipe data, all 3... data/fact reset, cache, and Dalv <---- THIS IS IN THE RECOVERY! DO NOT WIPE DATA FACT RESET FROM WITHIN THE ROM!

2. Flash the Debug zip

3. Flash the CM& nightly ROM

4. Flash Google Apps zip

5. Reboot

+1. And you can flash the zip in my signature if you want your phone info to reflect Sprint info.

Also, if flashing the nandroid backup to go back to reborn, clear under recovery and flash debug again before restoring. Or at least that's what I do to be sure.

I think he is doin Zef's version, but yes! Good call forgot to add that to my post if they want AOSP

I made a beginner's guide a while back for the scott pilgrim version - a bit outdated in terms of what's broken/fixed (haven't changed it since late March), but should still give you solid info for installing and getting all set up. The link is in my sig.

Listen to him. I'm rooted and running cm7 and wouldnt be doing either if it wasn't for the help of jondevere. Thx again bud
