Help with phone update

Hello, I have a Rooted Sprint Epic 4G and recently have been recieving system update noticifactions, and i am new to rooting. i tryed accepting the update, but i dont think the update is taking affect....

Could someone tell me tell me how to unroot> update> re-root for the most current update.. thanks for any help!

[TIP]Note, you may want to backup any important app data using Titanium Backup or MyBackup Root and then you can restore this information once your on EL30.[/TIP]

1. Download the ROM.zip file and place it on your device's sdcard.
2. Boot into CWM from a powered off state (Press and Hold Volume Down + Camera + Power) until it boots into CWM ( takes a few seconds)
3. Make a Nandroid Backup (Select Backup/Restore>Backup)
4. Wipe Data, then wipe cache partition & finally Advanced> wipe dalvik cache.
5. Select Install from SDCARD and follow the prompts to find your ROM zip file and install the ROM.
6. When finished Reboot.
