Hi,
I have two problems with my DX, and I can't find the answers in the forums. My Gmail stopped pushing on my phone. It sometimes works when I am on WiFi, but even then, I get my emails five minutes later. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all Gmail updates. I have gone into settings and clicked the box to stop syncing Gmail and then turned it back on. I have pulled the battery. I have made sure that everything Gmail is on the phone and not the SD Card. Occasionally, it syncs like it should, but then, for no reason, it stops. That led me to the next problem.
I did the manual download of Gingerbread back in May, so I am still on 588. I thought maybe a more updated GB might fix the problem, and if it didn't, I could at least turn it in to Verizon and get a refurbished model. I decided to SBF, but I am having real difficulty. I have followed all of the directions you guys have posted, but my phone never comes up when I run RSDLite. I have tried it on two different laptops and three different desktops.
Any help you guys can offer would be awesome. Thanks.
