Help with SkyRaider 3.3.4 Sense Battery Drain

I just flashed to skyraider 3.3.4 and am very new to being rooted. I've heard great things about battery life improvement but i'm experiencing the furthest thing from it. In 3 hours my phone drained half the battery from a full charge NOT USING IT at all. Any suggestions? I have a stock radio/kernel/whatever its called, is that the problem?

Sometimes you have to give a custom rom a day or two to settle down to it's new home. If you are still having problems tomorrow, try another rom or reinstall the current one...

Try running a Hydra under volt kernel, with set cpu.
