HELP! YouTube distortion glitch on android

Android Central does not permit any discussion of illegal apps that bypass legitimate sites. Only the actual YouTube app is allowed to be discussed.

Your phone is 6 years old at this point, so it probably isn't powerful enough to stream YouTube videos at a high resolution. You could try going to the settings in YouTube and changing the resolution to something lower. Perhaps "data saver" will work for your device.

Do you have root? This is probably caused by a wrong boot.img. It's not related to the quality. Also, thanks for using Youtube you-know-what!

The phone is quite powerul, this isn't related to quality.

Another question, does the same thing happen with youtube in browser or even your camera app?
 
Have you also tried clearing the app cache/data for YouTube in Settings>Apps, then Force Stopping the app and then opening it again?

Although I agree that the phone should have the specs to stream YouTube in full HD, I would say that BLU is a budget phone manufacturer, and as such, their devices might be more prone to hardware or firmware glitches.

I've tried that but still no luck
