Do you have root? This is probably caused by a wrong boot.img. It's not related to the quality. Also, thanks for using Youtube you-know-what!View attachment 368101Hello, so I have this distortion glitch on YouTube shorts and the video player I've tried YouTube [redacted by mod]. But I still get this distortion glitch If there's any way to fix this please help (Bold N1) (Android 10)
The phone is quite powerul, this isn't related to quality.Android Central does not permit any discussion of illegal apps that bypass legitimate sites. Only the actual YouTube app is allowed to be discussed.
Your phone is 6 years old at this point, so it probably isn't powerful enough to stream YouTube videos at a high resolution. You could try going to the settings in YouTube and changing the resolution to something lower. Perhaps "data saver" will work for your device.![]()
Another question, does the same thing happen with youtube in browser or even your camera app?View attachment 368101Hello, so I have this distortion glitch on YouTube shorts and the video player I've tried YouTube [redacted by mod]. I'll try to see if uninstalling the update works what version do you recommend? Is this only in YouTube?
If so try uninstall the update see if previous version is ok.
My camera app and YouTube browser works fine but the YouTube app is having the problemAnother question, does the same thing happen with youtube in browser or even your camera app?

It brings me to the factory version and there's an error that says "There was a problem with the server"When you long press YouTube>tap info>upper right corner tap then uninstall the update which will take u to the previous version
I've tried that but still no luckHave you also tried clearing the app cache/data for YouTube in Settings>Apps, then Force Stopping the app and then opening it again?
Although I agree that the phone should have the specs to stream YouTube in full HD, I would say that BLU is a budget phone manufacturer, and as such, their devices might be more prone to hardware or firmware glitches.
