HELP!!!

I bought a new htc evo 3d and instead of saying sprint it says death something on the lock screen and notification bar how can i change this? i already have it activated and installed new roms but nothing wont work ;(

Did this happend after you had "rooted" the phone? I don't know much about rooting phones but can't you revert the process (unroot). I've never heard of such wording on the lock screen before. Have you installed any recent application that could have caused this to happen?
