My lg optimus m plus wont read sd card

Welcome to Android Central! Did the SD card ever work before? Have you taken the SD card out and tested it on your desktop or laptop? You may need to reformat it in your computer, then reinsert it into your phone. Or the SD card might just be bad.

i have the same prob but for the lg ms 690
the card reads on the pc but not on my phone

Check the size of the SD card. There is a maximum size that the phone can read. Look it up.
