I have dinc 2 and have noticed that my phone has become lagging. The battery is dropping abnormally. Does anyone know PVMtpServiceStart is? Its taking up 75% of the battery. Any ideas?

that's come up for a few owners. one option is to take it back to verizon and have them look at it. or you could also try a factory reset. and still another option is to try a temp root and freeze that app.

It has come up for me once or twice. I have noticed it pops up sometimes when I have an update available for an installed app. Look in notification bar or go to "market" & check "my apps" to see if you have any updates. I updated my apps, did a force close on PVMtpServiceStart and have not seen it again now for a couple of weeks. Others have said it also may be related to the Blockbuster app forced upon us. Personally, I haven't touched that app.
