I have a BlackBerry Priv. It's perfect. 👌

After 6 years of using nothing other than a BlackBerry I think this is the best one I have had since my Curve days.

Anyway I have to admit I am a bit of a heavy user when it comes to my phone lately and I was also so on BB10. But I knew how to manage certain applications to prolong my battery. I can't kill to Android runtime apps anymore because the whole OS is Android.

So last night I decided to charge my battery 100% and leave it unplugged and see what it does.

After 1 and a half hours it was on 98%. I used it a little as I struggled to sleep and when I was finished I was on 82% I believe. The things I was doing was texting using Hangouts, Snapchat, uploading NYE photos on Facebook and Firefox.

I then went to sleep because I still wanted to find out the results on my phone.

So I woke up around 4am and discover my battery was in the red. I also noticed my GPS was on constantly during that time and the screen was awake.

When I was out for NYE it was out after 12 hours again. I have to admit I was Snapchatting an awful lot and I believe my data is restricted on certain apps including Snapchat forcing me to use WiFi.

Anyway, I forgot to charge my phone at 4am and when I woke again it was at 4% so I started charging it with a standard charger before swapping to my Quick Charge cable.

And that's me caught up. I hope to learn more about Android from you guys.

Oh. Screen time percentages:

1% @ 98%
7% @ 82%

And the rest I think you can see.

Another update for you.

Something is keeping your phone awake, try using an app like greenify that stops apps from running in the background
