hero status bar smiley face?

have a yellow smiley face on my status bar...anyone know how to turn this off? Is this because I launched the yahoo instant messenger??

I'd say that's a likely reason. If you open the notifications panel, it should tell you what program it's related to.

Yes, its the yahoo (default IM) client. I have had it happen, where the Task Killer kills my IM app and the smiley face does not disappear. A quick restart of the phone corrects that.

I always get the little yellow AIM guy in my status bar. I launch the native "IM" application, select log off, and the little yellow guy goes away.

Happens every time i reboot my phone because i launched it 1 time. No way to disable "auto login".
