Okay, so my phone has a little problem with calling out. Even with good service I have a serious lag between hitting the call button and the phone actually calling. I was a 3 minutes when I was talking with tech support. So they told me to do a hard factory reset.

Before I do that I need to sync my contacts with gmail. My gmail account is not one I use often, so I have like two contacts in there when I login from my PC. In my phone I have hit the sync contact button twice tonight while in the gmail account settings. Yet when I login to gmail they do not show up.

Please help!

Your problem might be the following: By default, your phone stores contacts as "Phone" contacts, meaning they are not synced to Google. To do that, you have to set your contacts to "Google" contacts, that way, they will sync. I'm not sure if there is a way to transfer them in bulk, at least right now I don't remember how to do it. Been a while since I did the contact transferring... If you don't want to bother with transferring your contacts you can always sync them to your computer with HTC Sync, then back to the phone once you've done the reset. Your choice.
