Hey, I'm a young developer looking to develop apps for Android

Hey, I'm Jordan and I'm a 16 year old developer(sort of) from the UK.
At the moment I'm developing an app for Windows Phone because it is my primary platform, and I can develop apps for it using HTML5.

I was wondering if Android allows developers to use HTML5 when coding apps, because if my Windows Phone app becomes successful, this is the platform I would develop for next. (because iOS sUX)

I don't think it's possible to use HTML5 for building native android apps. I may be wrong about this since I am not a 'real' developer, it's just a hobby of mine.
The coding is done in java for which I use Eclipse with the ADT plugin. If you are interested, this page could be interesting for you:
