Hi, I’m Rob (just in case my username didn’t give it away). I’ve been hanging around Mobile Nations forums for quite some time. I’m also a moderator on iMore, Android Central’s Apple-centric sister site, and I’ve volunteered in other capacities along the way. Yes, I’m an Apple guy but I have a pretty balanced view on technology and believe that just because the Apple ecosystem best serves my particular needs doesn’t mean that other ecosystems aren’t a better match for others. I mean, there’s a place in the world for both Android and Apple for a reason.
You’re probably wondering what brings me to Android Central. Well I’ve recently stumbled into the VR/AR universe and have been experimenting with various implementations of Google Cardboard as well as Apple’s own AR stuff. I’m also very much interested in the upcoming Oculus Go which runs an Android SDK. So I’ll be hanging out mostly in the new VR/AR forum here but don’t be surprised to see me elsewhere around Android Central as well.

So far I've used all platforms covered by Mobile Nations except iOS/MacOS and webOS. I have lots of family and friends who have iPhones and Macs, though, and they are nice devices. It's great to have members who use all platforms contribute on all of our sites.

I wish you weren’t right. I think the Tigers are probably facing a few rebuilding years but that’s to be expected IF they do it right. Rebuilding takes time; just look at the Astros!
