Hi.. my name is Fernando..

You know, not all Toyota Camry's almost killed their drivers. Didn't mean there wasn't an issue that had to be dealt with and doesn't mean that a lot of people almost died because of faulty pedals. Just because it worked for you doesn't mean it's flawless and negates the fact that there people that have issues. If you think simply reading, following directions, and taking your time was a "minefield" then I don't know what to say. Overwhelming, yes. I know a lot of people that would probably pass out laughing from you calling me a snob. I actually farted from laughing so hard.

Edit: physical therapist smelled it and almost threw up ha ha ha ha ha owned!

And I agree... Also I would like to point out not ever phone is equal

what works for you might not work for another Evo...

Just like in Kernels

I Can Flash one and OC to like 1.22 but Jerzy Tries and his Evo Crashes and Vice Versa

Stating hey it works perfect for you bla bla doesnt negate the fact that it is a troubled path you walk...

once something does happen will you have the Knowledge to repair it on your own...

Or will you post a Thread about it making us point out there are threads about said issue already...

My Advice for anyone using Unrevoked... Read the stickies and get familiar with the process

once you run into an issue well Everything is already layed out there and the original Root method teaches most fixed to begin with

Thats just the Snob in me talkin IDK you tell me if he's right or not...

Heck, I don't have to get familiar with any process... don't really have the time being a busy dad with events practically every night involving my kids. UnrEVOked, Titanium, Nandroid, and ROM Manager makes it pretty effortless to play with ROMs with little risk and no huge learning curve investment.

The comfort of being to run Nandroid alone makes me feel secure should I ever either screw things up, lose my phone (saving the backups to my PC regularly) or something happens to it and I have to get another. Just have to make sure to root the new one before restoring. :)

Do you know if he's fixing the google navigation? Mine was deleted

And thats' completely understandable. But what I'm trying to say is basically just be careful with unrEVOked. That's all. I'm honestly glad that everything worked out for you. Hell who wants a bricked or messed up phone! Trust me it sucks lol.. All I'm trying to say is when it comes to hacking phones, just be very careful with what you do and use to do whatever it is you plan on doing to your phone. Unfortunately people have put too much trust into unrEVOked and they failed miserably in the past.

Ya he's working on all the fixes for the next update. I think that last OTA kind of caught him off guard. I'm pretty sure a new update will be available pretty soon. Go to Vaelek's Place • Portal and sign up. If you have specific issues post them. He's really good at responding and may have a fix right now available for it actually.

It took a few easy tweaks to get the latest Vaelpak 2.2 working, but it's really worth it. I tried that ResToggle, and it's pretty amazing. Makes reading tiny text on the phone almost feel like I have an Epic (with a smaller screen, ha!) but more space to put stuff.

I went back to standard resolution. My tired old eyes couldn't adjust to it.

I wanna try out CM6 again.. I got about an hour to get it all set up. I wanna test it for the night. gonna be heading to Dave n Busters.

Edit: I don't remember CM's file size being so small?? Only 69.9mb o_O

I wanna try out something else to, but something tells me I'm not gonna like anything else better then CM6.. Once I find a good drug it's hard to switch! LOL

LOL ^^

I'm trying it out now. It'll never be my daily but I'm hoping it's more stable than last time. I can't go without 4G and when I get my new replacement Evo tomorrow HOPEFULLY my HDMI works.. Downloading CM6 now

Ok I must have a rogue app or something because everything is pretty sluggish... Gonna try and wipe cache and dalvik...

Ya I'm gonna put this snap stuff. It seems like a lot of **** to do though. I only have like 10 minutes before I have to leave grr
