You're on CM so I don't know if it'll work..
But if you put the power control widget on your homescreen all the way on the right is the automatic brightness toggle. If you toggle it it'll either fade to the new brightness level, or instantly flash to that brightness level. If it fades to that level, its a nova screen if it instantly changes brightness then its an epson

Well i simply cant stop flashing **** on my phone. ive just been reading never participating much on this thread. Ive tried alot of roms.. i have myn on my phone but just dont feel like doing the whole data wipe thing yet again so im sticking to cm6 instead...
sticking to something has been killing me and i need to flash something so i figured id go for these radios and wimax stuff..
[ Radios ] All EVO Radio, WiMAX, PRI & NV versions - xda-developers
^this was mentioned earlier but i dont really get what they do. Has anyone used the latest radios and wimax and whats the importance of updating them.. and do i just flash them without wiping anything.. if i was gonna id just just do the combo deal.
also for all those who like myn but dont like sense have any of you tried this

Haha I know the feeling. I've flashed back to cm6 after trying everything else. Now for the radio and wimax, you just flash those no prob. But, I'm pretty sure the pri update requires s-off=unrevoked forever(that's where I quit)....flashing wimax for cm is unnecessary, since 4g doesn't work yet
Edit: the updates are suppose to make things work better, better signal, etc. Do they help? Well, that's debatable
Gonna try CM6 again now that I have my new phone... I'll run it for a day or two and see how I like it..
I got Something that might make the Experience more well more pleasing i guess to the eyes...

No go on CM6. Put me in a boot loop. Did a NAND backup. Went right to wipe data, wiped cache, wiped dalvik, flashed CM, flashed snap7, flashed gaaps, flashed the "goodies" that d3x sent me

What kinda goodness is dex passing around now?
Haha I figured. Nothing major. Just smooth sense for CM lol. I've tried to flash cm three times and it keep boot looping. It's pissing me off....
